Abubakar Abdullahi

Founder

Abubakar Abdullahi

A media executive, broadcaster and institution builder with over a decade of experience shaping Kenya's media landscape. Best known as the former CEO of TV47, he led the station to become one of Kenya's fastest-growing national broadcasters — known for bold storytelling, youth-focused programming and digital-first news.

He has mentored hundreds of journalists, producers and media professionals across TV, radio and digital. Frustrated by the gap between what media schools teach and what the industry needs, he founded ADEO to train the next generation.

“The future of media will be built by people who understand both storytelling and technology. That's who we are training at ADEO.”
